We have also been very lucky in the fact that we can record the birds as they are moving around, so we will be uploading a few videos to YouTube so that you can see the birds in action. You will only be able to watch these videos at home though and not in school.
This is the first time that myself and Mr Khanna saw the birds in the bird box. In this video you can see that the pair of blue tits are taking away all the bedding that is in there.
In this video you can see that she has now completely taken out all of the bedding and has started to bring in her own nesting material.
This is the first day that we noticed any eggs in the box, you can slightly make out what looks like one egg at the start of this video.
A long weekend off and we come back to find out that she has laid 6 eggs, you can see them all in this video.
She laid another egg today, so in total there are 7 eggs, we think as there have been no more since then that she will start incubating either today or tomorrow!! 12 days to go!
